Personal History
Putzy (Elizabeth) Madronich is a Niagara-based Visual Artist.

Putzy grew up in the beaches of Toronto where even as a small child she spent all her time on art and music.

She moved to Hamilton, where she attended high school and university. After grade thirteen she moved to Paris, France where she studied French and bought her first set of watercolours.

It wasn’t until Putzy moved to the Niagara Peninsula that she began taking painting classes. She worked primarily in watercolour for years. Later, after studying, at the Haliburton School of fine arts, her work broadened to include mixed media, printmaking and collage.
